Folder Structure
Purpose
To establish a consistent and organized folder structure for video editing projects. This structure ensures that all assets, project files, and exports are systematically stored, making it easier for editors to locate, manage, and collaborate on files efficiently.
Below is the folder/directory structure that every editor is advised to follow in order to maintain consistency in the folder organization.
Main Project Folder Structure
Main Folder: ProjectName
Notes
If you manage all the project files, stock footage, images, music, sound effects (SFX), and any additional resources in a centralized folder that can be used across multiple projects, you can continue managing them in a separate folder.
You can remove or leave empty any unused folders in this directory.
