Tier Classification Notes
Editors are assigned to tiers based on portfolio strength, test task results, and performance on live projects.
Editors whose portfolios match or exceed our internal quality benchmarks may be placed directly into Tier 3 or Tier 4 without a probation period.
Tier 4 is reserved for editors who consistently deliver top-tier quality, meet deadlines without reminders, and require minimal revisions. Placement into this tier is granted only through recommendation by the Production Supervisor or Operations Officer.
Some projects may have adjusted budgets depending on client requirements. Editors should confirm pricing with their Production Supervisor before starting work when clarification is needed.
Core Editing Guidelines
Editors must review and understand the script, brand positioning, and intended audience before beginning any edit.
Only relevant, high-quality stock footage should be used. Random or filler visuals are not acceptable.
All edits must follow the provided references, style guidelines, and visual direction.
Storytelling, pacing, music selection, transitions, and visual rhythm should be used intentionally to clearly communicate the message.
Any uncertainty or creative concern should be discussed with the Production Supervisor before proceeding.
